Why blog?

I always wanted to create with words, but I’m terrible at following through. I also am rarely willing or able to commit the time and mental effort it takes write well. So, my skill is limited, my time is limited, but I still want a space to put things out into the ether when the mood strikes or mood requires

Why now?

In a word? vibe coding. Initially I just was just testing the waters to see what claude code was capable of. When I asked it to create a “cyberpunk themed” website, claude just made it … from scratch and it told me how to register a domain name and host it for free. It gives me full control over everything. I do not need any bells and whistles. I’m not looking for comments or engagement i’m not worried about comments or SEO or whatever. So here we are.

Interests

My interests are fairly wide-ranging, but absolutely niche. I like analog stationery, and fancy tea. I like gardening and poetry. My favorite aesthetic has got to be cyberpunk. I play video and board games, casually. I read science fiction, fantasy, and some “literature”. In no particular order some favorite books of mine are:

Eventually I will put up poems I have been working on, but also hope to share a few short stories. I have plans for an episodic style adventure, and a cyberpunk themed choose your own adventure.

AI generated stories or poems or blog posts. I used AI to build the site, but I refuse to let it generate any content.
